DAVEY ALSIP

Davey Alsip is a 14 year old NASCAR Youth Series driver from Germantown, Ohio. He began his quarter midget career in 2019. From 2020-2023 he raced in Senior Honda and Light 160, and added Light World Formula into the fleet in 2023.  This season he focused on Light 160 and Light WF, competing at his home track, Miami Valley in Xenia, OH, locking the championship in both classes in his final year of competition. Davey and his family have also spent the season traveling in the Midwest Thunder regional series throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan where he brought home multiple podium finishes and finished 6th and 4th in the championship points respectively. His favorite memory of the season was competing at the Battle at the Brickyard in July and bringing home his first NASCAR Youth Series podium, finishing third in Light WF! 2024 is Davey's final season in quarter midgets and he plans on getting behind the wheel of his dad's late model to test, as well as test a few different dirt series classes to find the right fit for him. Over his quarter midget career he won a total of eight Miami Valley Championships, three 2023 Mid-Ohio Championships, the 2023 Buckeye Winternational Championship in Light World Formula, and a lifetime of memories with his friends and family! 

 

Outside of racing Davey runs for his high school cross country team and is a member of the drumline in marching band. He enjoys spending time with his friends drumming and learning new music and fishing with his dad. We couldn't have made the memories and spent the time together as a family at the track every weekend without the help of some amazing sponsors, friends, and family!
